Energy Patterns for June 2015

Major Waveform Patterns:

Jun 1st to the 9th -- a well formed storm with many Alerts.
Jun 10th to the 15th -- the storm is starting to wind down.
Jun 16th to the 23rd -- a wimpy transition period.
Jun 24th to the 30th -- a noisy, moderate storm kicks in.

An online ephemeris for the month is available. Check Current Transits, too.

The big storms in June are all in the first 2 weeks, while the last half of the month is mostly weak and noisy transitional patterns. The storms are based on Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto as the faster moving planets pass through, but the dreaded square between Uranus and Pluto is showing signs of falling apart finally. In particular, Pluto seems to be losing steam lately -- not that most people would mind that turn of events. It's a relief to have the deep acting outer planets working more quietly off in the background for a change. As I look at the waveforms for June, I see 4 main patterns, though it can be a tough call to decide where the boundaries lie.

Jun 1st to the 9th

The 1st to the 9th is a strong, well formed storm pattern. The waveform varies in strength from 364 to 527 units, a Koz Alert that should get your attention. The harmonics are a complex mixture of H6, H12, H24, H48 and H8 -- generally rather positive energy, though it can be demanding at times. The energies are most focused at 15-19, 27 and 10 degrees of each zodiac sign -- see where this hits your own chart. It takes a few days for this storm to build up, following a weaker slump period at the end of May that starred sluggish Neptune. It takes off around the 3rd, with a preliminary check-in when the Moon goes over Pluto on the 4th. The Sun and Mars are the major trigger planets during this time, giving you the urge to pursue personal goals, though the required focus and discipline to make good on these intentions may be lacking. Then there are the distractions and unexpected gotchas that continue to get in your way. With Mercury preparing to go direct again, you may find it hard to concentrate on mental tasks, while communication problems with the people around you continue to baffle everyone. Work as slowly and deliberately as you can muster now, keeping in mind that you may have to redo some of this work later on.

The outer planet backbone to the many planetary storms we've experienced for months on end is starting to fray. Uranus and Pluto are finally starting to separate from their impressive 3 year long square. Further, Jupiter, Saturn and Chiron are going their ways as well. It's getting harder to make a good storm. Currently, the Sun, Mercury and Mars are forming a loose grouping with the backbone in early June. This is enough to kick the waveform into the low Koz Alert range several times this week. Life is fast moving and chaotic -- you know the routine by now. It's a good time for working on some task, assuming you have your plans in order already. Get moving!

Jun 10th to the 15th

The 10th to the 15th is a continuation of this major storm, although you can see it's already losing steam. The waveform is in the 344 to 535 unit range, a brief Alert. The harmonics are a combination of H6, H12, H24 and H48 -- still pretty useful, despite the complications that crop up. The focal areas are 18-20, 8 and 13 degrees of each sign. The Sun and Mars are pretty much done with the outer planet group for now, leaving only Mercury (standing still on the 11th) and its octile with Uranus as the only remaining trigger aspect. Despite this, the outer planets get off one last Koz Alert when the Moon goes over Uranus on the 11th. Paradoxically, this last Alert is the strongest energy all month. Your thinking may be sluggish or erratic now, with Mercury and Neptune both standing still and in a wide square. Probably a good time to avoid any demanding mental work, especially if it's important it be done right the first time. Saturn backs into Scorpio on the 14th, which can stir up deep emotions that make little sense. Start winding up any ongoing projects before you lose your supporting tailwind.

Jun 16th to the 23rd

The 16th to the 23rd is a noisy transition period, mostly on the wimpy side. The waveform backs off to the 351 to 462 unit levels -- weak to moderate intensities. The harmonics consist of H48, H12 and H4 -- the world is getting more difficult and distracting. The energies are scattered at 15-18, 27-30 and 10-12 degrees of each sign. Except around the solstice, this time is pretty quiet. The inner planets are leaving the outer ones alone for the most part, with only Venus making a few contacts. However, there are a pair of "big aspects" now that shake things up for us, if only internally. The Saturn-Pluto octile is rather heavy-handed, while the Jupiter-Uranus trine is more upbeat, so this time could go either way. It's easy to feel moody or out-of-sorts under these influences, so don't get too upset if you're not feeling yourself these days. Take it easy on yourself.

Jun 24th to the 30th

Finally, the 24th to the end of the month is a moderate, but noisy storm pattern. The waveform is in the 347 to 461 unit region, weak to moderate energies. The harmonics include H48, H12, H4 and H24 -- still rather scattered and distracting. The focal points are 19-21, 15 and 1-4 degrees. Once more, there's not much going on these days, so try to get in some R&R between minor crises. The biggest story now is the upcoming Venus-Jupiter conjunction in mid Leo which forms a lovely sight in the western sky at sunset for the next two months. It's hard to imagine a more positive and good-feeling influence than a conjunction like this, so take it all in as much as possible. Uranus adds a quirky streak to this contact, as well. Otherwise, it's time to glide into July and prepare for the next uptick in energies.
