Energy Patterns for April 2007

Major Waveform Patterns:

Apr 1st to the 8th -- some strong, crisp Koz Alerts to wake us up.
Apr 9th to the 16th -- a little weaker and more difficult.
Apr 17th to the 20th -- a few days to kick back, if you can.
Apr 21st to the end of the month -- one screaming, powerful storm that means business!

An online ephemeris for the month is available.

Due to the solid pattern formed by Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune, with Uranus slowly joining in, it seems as though we're almost always in one storm or another during April. The last 10 days of the month, in particular, are an extremely busy time with the waveforms nearly breaking the 600 unit mark. It seems there are 4 main energy patterns to consider.

Apr 1st to the 8th

The 1st to the 8th is a strong, crisp storm. The waveform ranges in intensity from 393 to 528 units -- into the busy and powerful low Koz Alert region. The harmonics that are dominant now include H12, H6, H24, and H48 -- generally quite constructive and positive, though rough to handle at times. Most of this powerful energy is focused in the 17-20 degree area of each zodiac sign. Check whether any of your own natal planets fall in this active zone. The Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and sometimes Uranus group is gathering steam, after an impressive showing in March already. When supported by some of the faster moving planets (Mercury and Venus are important now), a great deal of activity is unleashed in our lves. Generally speaking, it feels like the shifts are quite upbeat, although there is a tendency to question and threaten social norms that people are still attached to. Jupiter and Saturn rule the fabric of society at large, how life plays out for us as a people. This is not a very stable time and big changes are in the air. Some of the shift is quite intangible, more a feeling or intuition of "how things should be" as people view their situations from a different perspective than in the past. Try to catch this wave and see how you fit in. It's easier to go with the prevailing tides than try to buck them.

Apr 9th to the 16th

The 9th to the 16th appears to be a continuation of this storm, although there are some important shifts in the waveform to notice. This pattern backs off slightly on the intensity dial, ranging from 336 to 492, so circumstances are less hectic. There's also a transition in the harmonic department, with the stressful H24 surpassing the easy-going H12. The 18-20 degree region is still active, with a secondary set of peaks visible that starts at 0 degrees on the 9th and drifts to 6 degrees by the 16th. It's the Sun's time to make a connection with those outer planets, creating a fire sign Grand Trine with Jupiter and Saturn. Some of the dissonance in this waveform (the H24 stuff) seems to be coming from Mercury, Venus and Mars. By and large, there's a disconnect going on within us. Storm energy can wear people out and make them want to "tune out" as much as possible. It seems that all this cosmic change is going on around us and we'd rather focus our attention somewhere else. With Mars now in Pisces, your sense of drive and determination may feel rather weak or erratic. If you find you're putting out a lot of effort and getting nowhere fast, it might just be that you need to change direction.

Apr 17th to the 20th

The 17th to the 20th is the only genuine transition period we get all month -- time to collapse and rest! The waveform is typically in the 329 to 440 unit range during this time, although it does surge to 498 late on the 20th as the next storm rolls in. The harmonics are mostly a noisy, stressful bunch, H48, H24 and a little H6 just for laughs. What energy there is seems to be focused at 17-20, 11 and 29 degrees of various zodiac signs. Mercifully, we get a few days off from the craziness. Except for the new moon on the 17th and Saturn's direct station on the 19th , there's not much going on these days. The Saturn station isn't as bad as it sounds, since this is the end of the retrograde cycle and the pressure on us will soon be lifting. Catch your breath -- the coming storm is a doozy.

Apr 21st to the end of the month

The 21st to the end of the month is the granddaddy of planetary storms for quite some time. The waveform varies in strength from 392 to an overwhelming 598 units, almost a Koz Quake (which starts at 600). Prepare to be blown off your feet. The harmonics are H12, H4 and H24, a mixture of easy-going and very challenging frequencies. The emphasized areas are 17-20 degrees of each sign (surprise!). The near Quake chart on the 27th is fascinating, based on a Grand Cross. Crosses like this are like a locomotive, with so much power to sling around that you get knocked off your course when difficulties inevitably arrive. This Cross involves Venus, the Moon, Jupiter and Mars-Uranus (conjunct in Pisces), with help from Mercury, Saturn and Neptune. Already, that's most of the planets in the sky. The energies are forceful, but erratic, so people are flipping off in all sorts of directions at once. Hopefully the interruptions are more interesting than your original plans were (which is often the case with Uranus), because only the most bulletproof of plans will be surviving intact these days. Get ready for a wild ride! This storm shows no signs of going away as we head into early May.
