Energy Patterns for November 2004

Major Waveform Patterns:

Nov 1st to the 6th -- a confused time with long lasting consequences.
Nov 7th to the 18th -- a long, noisy period going nowhere.
Nov 19th to the end of the month -- last hurrah for the Grand Quintile.

An online ephemeris for the month is available.

Much like October, there's not much variation in the waveforms during November. The strength levels are low to moderate and the harmonics are often confused and chaotic, although there are two mild storms to talk about. It's easy to over-analyze months like this, treating each little fleeting change as a significant shift in the wind. So when I say there are 3 big patterns this month, realize there are shifts in the waveforms going on all the time. It's a long, slow, demanding month, so don't sweat the minor changes. Here's my big 3 patterns.

Nov 1st to the 6th

The 1st to the 6th is a strengthening of the low storm that closed out October. The waveform's power is between 350 and 466 units, slightly more powerful than the last days of October. The harmonics include H24, H12, H48 and possibly some H5 for the Grand Quintile -- a bit on the rough side, but nothing we can't handle. The areas of each zodiac sign most affected by these waveforms are 9 to 11 and 26 degrees -- check where this hits your own birthchart. The planets Jupiter and Saturn seem particularly active these days, appropriate for a big national event such as the elections. These planets often preside over affairs of a societal or national level and this election is certainly a "fork in the road" year for our country. Of course, you have to mention the other players in the Grand Quintile pattern as well, namely Uranus and Pluto. These are the guys responsible for that feeling like there's a ton of bricks over your head hanging by a thread. This is a very sobering time, when choices that affect the future must be made. We have to act with all the wisdom we can muster. Fortunately, there are very creative forces backing our efforts, so do your best.

Nov 7th to the 18th

The 7th to the 18th is a long, noisy drifting period without much focus or direction. The waveform is pretty weak now, 324 to 448 units. The main harmonics are H48, H12, H24 and H36 -- scattered and difficult, but still something you can work with. Some of the emphasized degrees include 3, 10, 20 and 25 -- a little something for everybody. Despite this being the weakest waveform all month, it seems much of the action is happening now. The planets that are talking the most this period are one's known to be rough sailing, so set your sights accordingly. If you expect things to go smoothly now, you're apt to be sorely disappointed. You need to look at the "big picture" these days, because the influences at work are much bigger than any one person can manage alone. Be prepared for surprises.

Nov 19th to the end of the month

The 19th to the end of the month is another mild storm that kind of fades in and out. The waveform varies from 338 to 469 units in strength -- still pretty mild. The harmonics are H12, H48, H24 -- the more constructive frequencies have the upper hand finally. Areas of emphasis include 10 to 12, 25 to 27 and 22 degrees of each zodiac sign. When the Moon reaches 15Ta54 just after midnight of the 25th (11-25/00:51 CST, to be exact), the Grand Quintile repeats itself. Much of this third period is involved with these quintile energies. The 20th is especially tricky, with Mercury (by conjunction) and Mars (by octile) engaging Pluto. It's easier to diffuse sticky situations by talking rather than using force. Curiously, Mercury is slowing down for its retrograde station on the 30th, so it will be hanging around with Pluto for a long time. If things don't make sense, this might be the reason. Keep in mind that as we head into December, this mild storm blossoms into a wild storm, hitting the Koz Alert regions (500 and up) that we haven't seen for quite some time. It'll be quite a show!
